Smithfield & Sterling Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we handle when you use this website and interact with us, and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

This is a brochure website. It has no login, and no form that stores data on our servers. In normal use we collect very little:

• Enquiries you send us. If you email us (for example a private-dining enquiry), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and keep it only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
• Reservations. Booking is handled by our third-party reservation partner on their own platform. Any details you enter there are processed under their privacy policy, not ours.
• The interactive map. If you consent to load it, Google may process technical data (such as your IP address) to serve the map. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, sell your data, or build profiles about you.

Legal basis

We handle enquiry data on the basis of taking steps at your request (and our legitimate interest in responding to you). Non-essential technologies such as the map load only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Third parties

• Our reservation partner (booking flow).
• Google Maps (optional map), under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Our email provider (to receive enquiries) and our hosting provider (to serve the site).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email reservations@smithfieldandsterling.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
